About Markโ€™s Campaign

My Story: 40 Years Behind the Screen

This site is my living archive of tabletop RPG campaignsโ€”what we played, who we played, and the moments that stuck. Itโ€™s equal parts record-keeping, nostalgia, and a guide for anyone who loves long-running worlds.

How it started

From a Single Session to a Lifetime of Campaigns

I started running games because I loved the feeling of a table leaning in at the same timeโ€”when a plan clicks, a joke lands, or a risky roll changes everything.

Over the years the systems changed, the maps got better, and the cast rotated as life did what life does. What stayed constant was the ritual: friends, snacks, character sheets, and a shared story that only exists because everyone brings something to it.

The best campaigns arenโ€™t perfectโ€”theyโ€™re remembered.

Mark

Markโ€™s Campaign is where I keep those memories organized: synopses, years run, player/character lists, and the chapter-by-chapter beats that made each arc feel real. If youโ€™ve ever wanted to revisit an old party, borrow a plot hook, or just browse what a decades-long hobby looks like, youโ€™re in the right place.

What this archive captures

A Practical Record of Play

I built this archive to make it easy to browse by system, then year, then campaignโ€”without filters, logins, or noise.

Every campaign entry keeps the essentials visible: years run, game system, and the player/character pairs that defined the party. When thereโ€™s more to dig into, the campaign detail pages break the story into chapters so you can skim or deep-read at your own pace.

Numbers canโ€™t measure a good table, but they do tell a story: consistency, curiosity, and the kind of long-term play that turns fictional places into familiar ones.
